At Odyssey Performance Parts, we stand behind the quality and durability of our products. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Warranty Coverage
Odyssey Performance Parts warrants that our products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three years from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. This warranty is not transferable.
Warranty Claim Process
1. Initiation: To initiate a warranty claim, please submit a request via our online form to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number. 2. Shipping: Return the product to us with the RA number clearly marked on the outside of the packaging. You must cover the initial shipping costs; however, we will reimburse you for reasonable shipping expenses upon a successful warranty claim. 3. Inspection: Our technicians will inspect the product to determine if the warranty applies. 4. Resolution: If your claim is accepted, we will repair, replace, or refund the product at our discretion and reimburse you for the shipping costs. If we do not accept your claim, we will inform you of the reason and hold the product for your collection.
Exclusions and Limitations
The warranty does not apply to: – Products damaged due to negligence, misuse, or accidents. – Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or disassembly. – Cosmetic wear and tear such as fading or discoloration due to environmental exposure. – Damage from chemical exposure or use of prohibited chemicals.
General Conditions
– Our products must be installed according to the provided instructions and by a professional auto electrician. All products must be used within the specified voltage range. – Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase and the original product unless directed otherwise. – Discontinued items under warranty will be handled on a case-by-case basis and may be replaced with an equivalent item.
Customer Responsibilities
Maintain the product according to the guidelines provided. Avoid the use of harsh chemicals and ensure the product is used within the operational specifications provided.
